5 Injured When Vehicles Flew Off Highway

Five individuals were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries late Sunday night when two vehicles flew off a Fort Worth Highway. Though it has not yet been determined whether alcohol may have been a factor, it was an interesting series of events as first a pickup truck went sailing off Loop 820 near Marine Creek Boulevard, followed shortly by another vehicle. The truck, with four passengers, flipped several times before coming to a stop.

The number of accidents occurring throughout the DFW metroplex never ceases to amaze. It seems as though these motor vehicle crashes are especially common in the late night hours - often involving alcohol. We urge drivers to be aware of others on the road, as no matter how safely we may drive, the same can not always be said about fellow travellers.
