Holding the manufacturers of these vehicles responsible for their part in these accidents is the only way to demand change from the SUV industry. Personal injury claims will keep the SUV companies accountable, and with the threat of financial disaster, they might realize that the cost of redesigning SUVs on the market is worth the savings they would get over personal injury claims from rollover accidents. Ideally, they would realize that the loss of human life is already too high a price to pay.
