Holiday Accidents Caused by Drunk Drivers

The holidays are known as a fun celebratory time, but far too many people are injured or killed during this time due to the increase in drinking and driving. Drunk driving car accidents are a common occurrence year round, but the numbers greatly increase during the holidays.

Holiday parties often include alcohol which leads to more and more drivers operating vehicles under the influence. Stricter laws and penalties for drunk driving have reduced the number of drunk driving accidents and fatalities, but it seems no amount of punishment will completely stop people from getting behind the wheel after having a few drinks.

If you or someone you know has been injured or killed due to a drunk driver, you should be compensated for your losses. Contact a drunk driving car accident lawyer immediately to see if you can be compensated for lost wages, medical expenses, property damages and pain and suffering.
