Two Dallas motorcycle police officers were injured Tuesday night. According to the Dallas Morning News, the first accident occured at about 7 p.m. when an officer tried to stop a driver on South Westmoreland Avenue in west Oak Cliff. The driver of the car slammed on his brakes and the officer's motorcycle ran into the back of the vehicle, injuring the officer.

Minutes later, a second officer collided with a vehicle while on route to the first accident.

Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
